Operation Kitchen Remodel Has Begun

My Christmas present to Kyle is to let him buy as much walnut as he wants. And to not complain that our garage is now converted into a workshop (not to be confused with the workshop in the basement). He also said I could have this photo for the "hot stuff husband" calendar he thinks I should make.

In all seriousness, he's rebuilding our kitchen. All of it -- the floors through the cabinets. There will be new appliances. And oldest child is helping, so it's educational as well. It's going to be so beautiful, someday (hopefully by summer). Look at this wood!
